is a multiuser online platform for online events: conferences, expos, presentations, group meetings, and such. The platform can support 10,000 users simultaneously.

The application is developed to run on Windows and MacOs.

For access, the user needs to register on a web portal, download the app, and join the event of interest.

The virtual space can replace or supplement off-line events.
Atom.Online
Application
ATOM Avatar

To surf the virtual space, each Atom.Online user gets a unique avatar - ATOM capsule. The avatar can be customized with a user’s photo, color, and animation.
Communication
Users can interact via voice channel, text chat, or video conference. Of course, emojis are available for users, too - animated stickers, specifically designed for the project.

During the events participants can exchange digital business cards; contacts will be saved in personal accounts. A search engine within the portal allows for user search, and “teleport” enables users to travel to each other anywhere within the virtual world.
Entertainment
Interactive quests are integrated in the apps. As a reward, users get additional customizing options for their avatars.

Just like during a regular convention or a conference, participants can take a group photograph or a selfie. Photos are saved in the app’s gallery as well as on the portal server.
Conferences

Virtual conference halls can support both live session format and presentation shows with animation and visual effects.

During conferences, participants can participate in interactive quizzes and surveys, have discussions, and ask speakers a question using the ‘mike in the audience’ function.

Conference halls feature:
● Broadcasting presentations in 3D format
● Broadcasting from speaker's webcam
● Wallpaper theme changing depending on the event topic
● Interactive surveys and quizzes
● Group chat
● Animated emojis
● “Mike in the audience”
● Event statistics recorded and saved in administrative panel accessible on web portal
● Streaming live to YouTube
Networking

What is a conference without networking? That’s why we created virtual halls for meetups and group talks. These halls are equipped with screens that can be used for presentations, browser screen sharing, or as a whiteboard. These halls are open around the clock and can serve for small spontaneous meet-ups.

Atom.Beginning

During the first interactive event participants learned about the fundamental discoveries of the mid 20th century, the history of Russia’s atomic industry, and were immersed in the atmosphere of those times.

I don’t believe it

“I don’t believe it!” - interactive educational show, deconstructing common myths, surrounding science, in a game form. Speakers debunked common myths and answered questions from the audience. During the breaks users completed quests and earned bonuses.

Getting ahead of the time

“Getting ahead of the time” is an immersive online presentation of key technologies of the Russian atomic industry. What is so special about generation III+ power reactors? Who will be saved by theranostics? How to supply enough energy to last for the next 1000 years? Participants learned about that and much more during the science show.

As of 2020, three events have been held on the platform.
